An un-insulated home loses about a third of the heat it produces through its external walls, and a quarter of its heat through the roof. By insulating the loft and walls of your property you could save as much as £205 a year on your energy bills. That means the average house could reduce heating costs by up to 20%.

By spending £200-£300 in insulating your loft or cavity walls, you will save hundreds annually and increase your property’s energy rating – a rate of return of 50%-200%. What’s more, it’s all subsidized and it helps fight global warming. No other investment can offer that. Quick, easy, professional and competitive We will guide you through the options, on this site, over the phone, and then with a free survey.

Did You Know?

If everyone in the UK topped up there loft to 270mm, £380 million would be saved each year, that’s enough money to pay the annual fuel bills of 400,000 households.

Loft Insulation

Insulating your loft is a simple and effective way to reduce your heating bills. Without proper insulation a lot of the expensive energy your use to heat you home will be lost through the roof.

The recommended depth for mineral wool insulation is 270mm. So even if your loft is insulated, there is a probability that it doesn’t meet the recommended depth, and topping up the amount of insulation in your loft could save you money and reduce your carbon footprint.

How is it installed?

Insulation is simply laid over the floor of the loft, between and then over the joists if they are visible.

What if I use my loft for storage?

We offer a service to assist with the removal of possessions from the loft. We also offer a service to raise the joists and board all or part of the loft after the insulation is installed.

Cavity Wall Insulation:

In the majority of houses built after the 1920’s, the external walls are made of two layers with a small air gap or ‘cavity’ between them. If your home has unfilled cavity walls, a considerable portion of your energy bills will be wasted heating the air outside.

Filling the gap between the two walls with an insulating material significantly decreases the amount of heat that escapes through the walls. It will create a more even temperature in your home, help prevent condensation on the walls and ceilings and will also reduce the amount of heat building up
inside your home during the summer months.

All cavity wall insulation comes with a 25-year CIGA (Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency) guarantee.

“They were in and out in 3 hours. No mess, no marks. The only way you’d know the work had been done, is the lower bills.”

Luisa Fulci, Islington homeowner, also interviewed by the Daily Telegraph on her insulation.
